Heifers for Peace program is a program that involves building peace between two warring tribes through heifers. To strengthen the bond between children and families taking part in the peace building program, we give a heifer to two set of families from different tribes. One of the family will keep the heifer and when it gives birth to a calf they give it to their family friends for peace from the neighboring tribe. The project is executed after the friends for peace children and families sustained friendship for two years or more.
The project has been in existence for the past two years and currently, there is an ongoing fundraising campaign for Heifers for Peace 2017 in conjunction with The Advocacy Project.
